In 2000, Austrian Bernhard Auinger won the Formula Konig Championship driving Red Bull’s first sponsored racecar. Today it is raced by Sarasota Café Racer Ottokar Jacobs. Formula Koenig was an open-wheel racing series based in Germany between 1988 and 2004 and sponsored by Konig Komfort, best known for its racing seats. Tom Miller and some of the Oldwick NJ Café Racers combine their lunch event with great vintage hot rods & bikes on the Jersey Shore.
