Road Atlanta has been home to the Classic Motorsports Mitty since its inception, and this year’s event on April 26-28 will also host the return of ground-shaking vintage Can-Am racecars. While HSR (Historic Sportscar Racing) will be running the on-track action, Classic Motorsports magazine will be handling the infield festivities.
Racing legend David Hobbs, the event’s Grand Marshal, has run nearly everything: Can-Am, Indy, Formula One, Formula 5000, Trans-Am, NASCAR, IMSA GTP, IROC and so much more. In recent years, he has anchored America’s Formula One TV coverage. The Mitty’s featured marque this year will be MG, but Can-Am cars, Corvettes, Cobras, Porsche and Jaguar racecars insure something for everyone.
