MONTECITO MOTOR CLASSIC: CONCOURS FOR A CAUSE!

Our intrepid California ‘shooter’ Jim Palam brings us highlights of the Third Annual show that benefits the Santa Barbara Police Activities League.
Bill Ceno’s wicked ‘03 Ferrari Enzo has a young show-goer almost falling off his Gulf racing livery Nikes! John Yzurdiaga’s customized, seldom-seen ‘41 Graham “Hollywood Supercharged” is menacing in Montecito.

“Hammer’s Slammer” is low for the show – another head-turner from Michael Hammer’s impressive hot rod and custom collection.

You’re right! This is Steve McQueen’s curvy ’57 XKSS “Green Rat” Jaguar.

Easily one of the more impressive custom builds at the show was TrackMaster Product’s “Track T Roadster.” Project Manager Daniel Vehse gave us a peek at the 525 horsepower GM LS3 IMCA Spec racing engine his team somehow tucked into the T’s narrow nose.

If you were a rich playboy cruising the hills of Monaco in the 1950s, this probably would’ve been your preferred mode of transportation:’52 Ferrari Touring Superleggera.

The ‘32 No.18 Studebaker Spl Indy car sits race-ready at the show’s starting line.

Beautiful ’55 Mercedes 300SL Gull Wing, owned by  Paul Colony, features special-order black/brown paint and gray leather interior with matching luggage.

Tony Coast Village Road in Montecito has seen its share of wild cars over the years, but nothing quite like The Deathmobile. Thanks to Mark Mitchell for bringing this Animal House icon.
