The MILLE MIGLIA: EXPERIENCE FLORIDA, a franchised official “Red Arrow” 1000 Miglia event, is an international three-day road rally/race, featuring vintage grand touring cars and modern Supercars.
Starting on February 20th in Naples, Fl, the first Stamp Check, Passage Control, and Time Trials for 135 entered cars in the MILLE MIGLIA: EXPERIENCE FLORIDA will be in downtown Venice, FL (for its second year) at 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 21st.
During the Venice stop, drivers will take part in a slow-speed time trial at Centennial Park, offering spectators a rare opportunity to see these iconic vehicles up close. The cars arrive and travel through downtown, from Miami Avenue and Centennial Park. This year’s Venice stopover is hosted in partnership with the AACA Venice chapter club, whose continued support helped bring the international event back to Venice in 2026.
This year, there will be two entries from the prestigious Sarasota (FL) Café Racers: Howard Mintz and Marty Quadland will be competing in Howard’s ’06 Ford GT, and Mike Moss and Mark Gessler (experienced Mille Miglia competitor and automotive historian) will be in Mike’s TEAM ZORA USA ’57 Corvette Fuelie, The Spirit of Zora, which will also be running in the Mille Miglia “Storica” in Italy in June. It has an FIVA ID Card and was prepared for international competition by RM Motorsports, Wixom, MI. RM’s Bud Bennett will be Mike’s co-pilot.
