The final MCXtrema Hypercar built will be raced in the International GT Racing Series by its owner, Michael Moss. Here’s the MASERATI MCXtrema: UP CLOSE & PERSONAL!
Designed by Klaus Busse, head of Maserati Design, the MCXtrema is a 2,866-pound, track-only Hypercar powered by the 730-horsepower, 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine. MCXtrema production has been limited to 62 units, the last of which was ordered by Michael Moss, right, who has joined Maserati Corse’s exclusive circle of ambassadors. He will be racing it in the International GT Racing Series (GTX category) with engineering and track support from Roush Competition Engines, Livonia, MI, and RM Motorsports, Wixom, MI.
After dynamic testing at Maserati Corse’s test track, top, the livery was changed from #62 to Moss’ #33, and it was prepared for shipping to Florida.
