LEE HOLMAN: 2016 HEMMINGS CONCOURS HEADLINER!

In 1966, a Holman & Moody GT40 Mark II was one of the three cars that finished 1-2-3 at Le Mans. John Holman’s son, Lee, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Ford’s iconic win and will be the honorary chairman and keynote speaker at the 10th annual Hemmings Concours.

Lee Holman grew up around NASCAR-winning Fords and the GT40s that rocked the sports car world by ending Ferrari’s rule over endurance racing. This year there will be many celebrations showcasing Fords four year – 1966-1969 – winning streak at Le Mans. He also wrote the Foreword for Martyn Schorr’s new book on legendary Ford street performance and racecars, FORD TOTAL PERFORMANCE.
