LAMBORGHINI MIURA ROADSTER: ONE OF ONE!

There’s only one, and it will be at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance along with the latest Aventador LP 700-R roadster.

Very few cars have made an impact in the world of exotics and Supercars like Lamborghini’s stunning Miura. Designed by Marcello Gandini for Bertone, the Miura was manufactured with a mid-mounted four-cam V12 in 1966 through model year 1972. Models include the original 350-horsepower Miura (1966-1969), 370-horsepower Miura S (1969-1971) and 385-horsepower SV (1971-1972).  Only one open-top Miura was built and it was originally debuted at the 1968 Brussels Auto Show, below.

The 18th annual Amelia Island Concours will celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary, during the event’s festivities on March 8-10. Lamborghini will be displaying the rare Miura roadster from Switzerland for the celebration. There will be a full class of historic Lamborghinis, as well as a surprise from the factory’s new motorsports team, Squadra Corse.
