Jaguar joins Hot Wheels for Ultimate Track Challenge; sets official Guinness World Record.
At the Chicago Auto Show, Jaguar revealed the ’21 F-Type and its World Record Certificate for completing seven loop-the-loops with a blue F-Type Hot Wheels model: ‘21 F-TYPE: JAGUAR SETS WORLD RECORD!
Stuart Schorr, vice president of communications for Jaguar Land Rover North America, right, also revealed its partnership with Hot Wheels and the Ultimate Track Challenge – Universities in the U.S. and Canada are encouraged to design the most complex and interesting track layout possible. The winning track, as chosen by Jaguar, Hot Wheels, and Guinness World Records, will receive a $50,000 grant from Jaguar to that school’s engineering program.
“We are committed to developing the next generation of automotive engineers and enthusiasts,” says Schorr.
