Created by Vortech Superchargers for the upcoming SEMA Show, Project Yellow Jacket packs a serious 600-plus-horsepower sting.
“Since Ford doesn’t offer yellow on the 2014 Mustang, I was inspired to create this SEMA Project Car,” said Brian Ellis, sales, marketing and social media manager for AirPower

Group. “We wanted to create something really eye-popping with a mechanical package to
match the appearance.”

The team at Vortech added 3D Carbon’s Boy Racer Kit, along with a carbon-fiber cowl induction hood and other carbon accents from TruFiber all finished in a custom yellow paint supplied by DuPont. Under the carbon-fiber hood sits the potent 5.0-liter Coyote V8, fitted with a Vortech V-3 Si supercharging system. Boosted engine generates 605 horsepower and 473 pound-feet of torque with 7.5-psi boost.
