CELEBRATE 2021: ISO RIVOLTA GTZ

Andrea Zagato has patterned his life after Eleanor Roosevelt’s famous quote, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” CELEBRATE 2021: ISO RIVOLTA GTZ.

CELEBRATE 2021: ISO RIVOLTA GTZThe ISO Rivolta GTZ represents Zagato’s tribute to the ISO brand, which in the 1960s and 1970s carved out a prominent place in automotive history with its GT cars: Rivolta GT, Grifo, photo below, Lele and Fidia. Energy, Heritage, Prestige and Passion are the core values that Zagato communicates through the neoclassic and timeless design of this car.

The wave design of the GTZ side is the key junction between present and past, taking that inspiration from the ISO Rivolta A3 shape, which served for many iconic models over a long period. It has been inspired by the A3 Berlinetta Stradale, below, specially made for the French singer and actor, Johnny Hallyday.

CELEBRATE 2021: ISO RIVOLTA GTZAn American supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine by Corvette, like in the original A3 and the full range of production Iso GT cars, powers the GTZ. It is consistent with the historical partnership between ISO Rivolta and General Motors. As Renzo Rivolta started in the 1960s: “We chose General Motors V8 engines for all our GT cars, because they go faster and don’t break when you close the hood.”

Through raw power and passionate design, the ISO Rivolta GTZ, above & below, escapes the mundane and enters the extreme. The flowing fender, the raked fastback, together with a curved windscreen and the side air vents, which extend the front profile, create a perfect elegant and proportioned car.
