The BENTLEY MULLINER BATUR GT celebrates the 70th anniversary of the iconic Continental, and the ‘art of living’!

BENTLEY MULLINER BATUR GTBentley Motors attended the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille event for the European premiere of the two-door grand tourer limited to just 18 examples worldwide, the BENTLEY MULLINER BATUR GT. A celebration of the exquisite held in the equally exquisite grounds of the Château de Chantilly, the perfect place to launch the most powerful Bentley in history; showcase the start of a design revolution.

The stunning coupe felt home for the sixth edition of the event and was paired up with Balmain. Both brands share a focus on unique design and authentic values. The Bentley Mulliner Batur was chaperoned during the parade by male and female models dressed in Balmain signature tailored suits.

On top of the exclusive Batur, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Continental, a class was dedicated to Bentley post-war with a 1953 R-Type winner of the class. The R-Type from the Crewe heritage fleet was also displayed for the occasion in a beautiful Ivory exterior paint and red interior. Also built in 1953 the R-Type retains the original 4.6-litre engine and maintained an excellent mechanical order.

BENTLEY MULLINER BATUR GTAs first four-door body of the brand, the ‘58 S1 Continental was also displayed in the Garden Le Nôtre. Inspired by the S1, the most modern version, the Flying Spur Hybrid was naturally displayed alongside its ancestor. Powered by a 4.9 litre straight-six-engine, the S1 Continental from Crewe’s heritage fleet is beautifully finished in black with grey interior.
