Consummate car guy and Sarasota Café Racer is spending the summer honing his skills on racetracks in the UK and Europe.
World-renowned front man of one of history’s most successful rock bands and accomplished author, Brian Johnson, left, is also a passionate road racer. In fact, he is every bit as passionate about his music as he is about cars, especially his 600-horsepower ’65 Lola T70 Spyder and vintage Bentleys and modern Rolls-Royces. While his home base is Sarasota, FL, where he is a member in good standing of the Sarasota Café Racers, he and his wife Brenda are spending the summer at historic racing events in the UK and Europe. He’s racing a variety of cars, from full-on racers to vintage Minis and a Morgan, above.
